Adjustments to rear glass on 3dr
« on: April 10, 2017, 08:09:41 pm »
Anyone know If the glass on the rear  side of a 3dr can be adjusted. One side of mine is too high up and not leaving enough of a gap in the frame for my genuine roof bars to fit. It's the drivers side. The passenger side is prefect. I'm guessing the glass was replaced at some point.

Anyone know how this glass is fitted? If I strip off the trim around it will i be able to adjust the glass to move it down a small bit? Is the glass clamped in or what?

I think the glass is glued...

>MY2007 Golfs don't have the rubber trim in the rear glasses. It's just cosmetic, I guess.
