Think it's the same partnumber for both sides.

So you wouldn't have any thoughts on buying a pair that has 150.000km?  :innocent:

So long as they are straight, 150,000km is no problem.

Yeah they can be a bugger to get off, so most sellers leave them on!

No worries!
They arrived today, needs a good clean lol
Weighed them, 3kg each, that's including the console....sound about right?

Sounds good. I ordered some today myself. Should arrive mid next week. Also purchased some sodablower gear to clean em up.. Guess I'll give all parts in beneath the car a run over to clean the bits up. :)

I didn't weigh mine mate, but Shodouchi reckoned the steel ones are 4kg and the Passat ones are 2kg, less the consoles I assume.   I can quite believe that because when I held both in my hand, the Passat one was considerably lighter!

That's it. Without consoles since I just needed the wishbones. I kept my PU bushes, front from Powerflex and rear from SuperPro with anti-lift kit. I also bought new Passat ball joints.

Yes, but the Passat ball joints will correct a bit the roll centre. You just need to use new nuts for your ball joints. They're one use only, ideally.

Ta getting all the bits in before Saturday, just need to order the ball joints then. Hopefully I don't regret going for the black series ALK and front bushings, 95 shore!
Purple is 80...
Will have to wait and see if I knock my fillings loose

If you don't track the car I don't think the Black series is advised... I have road series SuperPro ALK and it has done 4 track days so far. No issues. It has some compliance to lessen a bit the road NVM.

So I'm getting my alloy wishbones from the B6 Passat along with some Audi TT bushes from darkside developments.

@Shoduchi should I just ring up VW and order some now ball joints from a passat b6 or which did you go with? :)

Also is there anything else I need to order before I can get them installed?

Not sure about the TT bushes. I prefer them from SuperPro that I also have in my GT Sport (the ones with anti-lift).

You can see what I did when I made that upgrade with part numbers included here: http://www.mk5golfgti.co.uk/forum/index.php/topic,95592.msg1079220.html#msg1079220

Went with the TT/S3 ones since my xar actually will never see a track day. So just trying to improve the ride for some highway trips :)

-Left ball joint: 3C0407365B
-Right ball joint: 3C0407366B
-Nuts: 6x N10332002

These partnumbers will also fit my 3C0407153B  wishbones?  :innocent:

I don't and won't ever track my diesel GT Sport but I loved the handling improvement that the SuperPro rear bushes with anti-lift gave, without compromising the driving comfort.

The parts listed are used in all Passats B6, so they're all compatible. Your wishbones are just a different revision from mine.

Anybody know the difference between these two parts of any..Passat B6 front control arm:-3C0407153B and also found control arm:-3C0407151G which says Passat/Sharan and other VAG cars

Both look identical to me 😕
