Warranty on rust

Sorry to bring this up ,sure it's probably been done to death ,but does anybody know how long the warranty is for rusty wings please?

12 Years Warranty on all bodywork.

As long as not been resprayed before then your wings will be covered. Take your handbook with you to the bodyshope as some can spak out of their behind when quoting facts

Or if they decide its 'external influences' and not repair it anyway!

They will probably try as some of them are idiots

My car is first reg June 05 ,so better get my skates on lol ,does it have to go to the local vw franchise ?

Doesn't have to be local, up to you which dealership you take it too. Some will try harder than others to get it done under warranty.

As they are franchises, some are better than others in terms of the bodyshop as well....good to try and find some reviews of your local ones bodyshop quality before commiting to having it done.
