ESP and Tyre Prssure Warning Lights. Fault G419
« on: April 21, 2017, 10:45:16 am »
Just bought an ED30 off a guy on here. Loving the car and can't fault it at all.

Both the ESP and Tyre Pressure Lights have been coming on and off. Pressing/holding the buttons on the centre console doesn't reset them.

Vagcom says Fault G419 Intermittent Fault. Midland VW in Cannock have quoted a new one at £714. I can get one off ebay for less than £40.

Anyone had this before? Possible fixes and is it worth giving the cheaper one a go first?

Thanks

I'm not sure what those fault codes means but I had tyre pressure and ESP light come on (as well as intermittant limp mode) that was caused by a broken throttle body.  This was on a Pirelli Edition

tyre pressure and ESP light due to broken throttle body?!

Had new tyres put on the other day and now have the tyre pressure light. Resetting with button doesnt work, although it does turn the light of momentarily, so the button is doing something! Tried to get into the block on VCDS but it just says no response from controller. Strange one...
