Not worth the 9k asking, if you added 3k you're into similar gti's but the mk6 or add 7k and you're into lower miled edition 35's.
For around 5-7k would be a better asking price though.

£5; £6; £7k.....at a push??? Where are you boys buying your cars from?

I don't think that is too bad for a low mileage, VW dealership car. Probably got a 12 month VW warranty too.

Just a different opinion....

Personally think 9k is way too much, not even highly specced.

Low mileage means nothing if it hasn't been looked after properly, I'd rather buy from an enthusiast who knows about all the common faults/issues and has dealt with it, be it a higher mileage.

For comparison, my '06, slightly higher spec with 26k on the clock at the time was advertised for £1k less than this at a main dealer one year ago. And that's not even what I ended up paying as I took the car at a reduced price after pointing out some minor corrections were required.

This seems a bit expensive. Plus mines red, which we all know is the best colour and therefore demands a premium :p (best except for maybe laser blue!)

As for low mileage premiums - if two identical cars which after the same inspections both seemed to be in good working order came up and the only difference was a 50k mile difference, of course you would expect to pay more for the lower mileage car. Maybe not as much as this advert asks for though!
