thing is carl there is 6 months between those two runs.

the difference could be due to the Discharge pipe, but could just as simply between different fuels, ecu adaption from when you first had your car set to revo stage 2, or just a difference in the dyno runs on different days (atmospheirc pressure, ambient temp, granted theyahve calcs to minimise difference) plusyou can chuck your car on the dyno and get 3 consecutive readings within 3-5hp of each other.

wow Carl , the torque peak looks to come in almost 250rpm earlier
although the plateau afterwards seems steeper ?

done within 2 hours on same dyno, only difference is BN Autoteknik Turbo discharge pipe and turbo outlet on K04 APR software.

Yeah it did come in a bit earlier Probably about 500rpm and The plateau dip is due to the wheels slipping slightly on the dyno (that's what Keith said due to the cold day.) the torque is higher from earlier on as well

At 2000rpm before the pipe was 180lb/ft

At 2000rpm after the pipe it was 210lb/ft

@Sy - The car is always run on V-Power and was on both those runs. The car had been on Stage 2 at that point for about 3 months so the ECU was well adapted. And as you well know from when i did the run in the second graph (as you were there) all four runs JKM did gave 256.x bhp (as the S3 cooler generally keeps the runs pretty consistent).

So maybe it could be difference elsewhere but i would be more inclined to believe (especially as i had a RR log done in the Nov in between iirc and that still gave 252bhp) it was the outlet pipe.

not disputing it, just stating that is a possibility.

i dont doubt they would work, just a quick look at the stock discharge piping you can see the the amount of restiction there and the improvments that could be made.

JBS sell it for £142 incl tax.

eurojet are knocking them out for $125 (£78) which is a big saving but doesnt take into account the delievery
ive never ordered from america before so if i was to buy that, would i get smashed with impot tax and delivery.

....The supplier in the US will charge you shipping but will probably give you a choice of how. Faster costs more.

The UK will possibly, increasingly probably, charge you both handling and taliban tax (vat). Because of increased anti-terrorist security measures much more gets checked nowadays. Oh, and the UK system could hold it up a couple of weeks although the more efficient US system might get it landed in the UK in just a couple of days!

Sorry - I'm just telling you the worst case but it's happened to me quite a few times and it's best to plan for the worst. It's a lottery.

Some great info guys :happy2:

Just to let you know, I've taken a punt for the Neuspeed version and will be getting before and after dyno plots too. :jumpmove:

The Neuspeed one has a larger bore than OEM and isn't "squashed" like the OEM one.

you not going to look  into the TB/IC pipe. alot of constriction in that pipe.

I have a Forge Twintercooler and only need the discharge pipe to mate up to it :happy2:

I have the Neuspeed version of that pipe Sy and it made no difference whatsoever to the output. I tried it when i was looking for the phantom stage 2+ problem and got the exact same Torque & Bhp as i did a month earlier.

I Still have it actually and might put it up for sale.

the neuspeed one is still really constricted in comparison to the SFS and eurojet varients though.

....

I haven't looked into the detailed comparisons but whichever kit anyone goes for they should make sure that the last section attaching to the turbo is that special heat resistant hose (Nomex) or metal, and not standard silicone or plastic.
