Problem with window modules gen 3

Today I fitted my gen 3 window modules off a seat Leon on to my gti but they don't seem to work  anyone have any ideas thanks

The ones I have are gen 2 I believe and last letter is H

You'll have gen 2 wiring, if your fitting gen 3 there will be lots of pin changes needed, did you have a read of this on my gti. Com

cheers mate I read something you posted on here a while back but didn't realise I'd have this issue. Is there anyway around this as Alex said it will work fine hence I bought them and tried fitting in today but only left windon button unlocks doors

Early golf's had slightly different wiring to later golf's on the window modules, if it's a gen 3 module it will only work in later golf's unless you do a few pin changes in possibly 2 plugs, as yours is an 05 car you'll defo have gen 2 modules fitted, it's not to bad to repin the plugs

Im not changing them but wanted to add the remote option to it and if you had a diagram to maybe Assist me that would be awesome?.

There so many different numbers with these freaking modules

i was going to message you last night but it got late lol the ones I've got only work with 2007 and above  there aren't different number it's the letter at the end you need to look for

There is 2 numbers 702 "x" and 792 "x"

So the 792N will always allow mirror fold no matter what part number the motor has?

Sorry to jump on your post but I had to change my drivers door window motor as the old one cooked itself and when the new one was fitted and all the buttons worked the wrong thing VW didn't want to know and they're trying to blame it on my car! So what we are saying is the current gen modules definitely won't work in an early mk5? What's the fix for this?
