ipod connector problem

hi lads, i bought the ipod connector on ebay, the 1 that connects to the cd changer, when i checked the back of my standard stereo

it doesnt have the cd changer outlet, is there another possible way to wire it to stereo so it'll work???

any help would be appriciated

Do you have a link to the one you brought?

It sounds like you probably have the older style one for the Gamma and Beta headunit's

When you buy the VW kit you get the choice of 2 in the box. What headunit do you have?

It's probably the RCD 300. The connection looks a little weird to me, there's no brown wire like I had.

apart from the connector block theres a red wire to charge it i think and a black wire for earthing it. think i wasted my money??? yeah think its rcd 300

Yes the one you brought will not work with the RCD300, it will only work on the older not touch screen navigation headunits.
