Hi, I've got a Caddy 2k and am here seeking advice as I believe we share the same front end. I've removed my BLS with the goal of a petrol engine conversion.
For months I was thinking I'll put a 1.8t (BAM) engine in it but my missus has put her foot down today stating she wants to keep DSG! (BAM didn't come with DSG).
So I've spent all day researching. My choices went from a lower spec 1.8t with DSG to a 2.0 tfsi with DSG. Then when asking around about them. It turns out you guys are swapping them for S3 engines for about 1k more.
Well in my experience, engine conversions are often the best solution for more power vs money spent on tuning.
What would you guys do?
