Lovely car - can i ask your thoughts on the VWR exhaust regards noise and the qaulity - just fitted a filter and springs from them and the qaulity and ride comfort(of the springs) is just what is was after.

Is the exhaust loud or boomy. I had a blueflame on my cupra and it was spot on but i had some issues with build qaulity

Apologies for all the Q's

I had the same thoughts as you, brought a "family" Passat 170 dsg estate . Had it 3 months and got withdraw symtoms from the GTi.

Costly mistake, and the Golf takes the family as comfortable as the Passat.

If your a Petrol head, i urge you to think about your decision. Cost me a fair few thousand.

Your Ed30 is a great example, or Keep with the GTI Edition 30 and get a More door version.

I know what you mean mate  19" BBS are about the best looking wheels for the golf IMHO. The Perfect match! ....one day, eh?

Car looks great bud, (even though I can't see the interior photo's)  :sad1:

Love the brakes too!!!

Get your groceries delivered mate

I was gonna sell my edition30 a while back and get a S3. Whilst I have paid for the Ed30 outright, I struggled to find the extra I needed for the S3, so I decided to keep the Ed30.

Now I think I will keep her (yes my Ed30 is female) for a few years. She does everything I need, and one day, like I said earlier, she will be wearing some 19" BBS.

Then she will be perfect.

ps....you can easily fit a pushchair and a baby seat in a golf  :happy2:
