Scirocco Clocks
« on: April 28, 2017, 01:26:02 am »
Spotted these on eBay from a 2015 Scirocco TDI, just wondering if these would works in a 2009 Jetta 2.0 CR TDI Sport which current has no MFSW, and midline clocks with computer functions operated via wiper stalk (I am planning to upgrade to MFSW when I can find one cheap enough)

Hi.
The actual shape does fit the mk5.

If you're planning to reaplce you steering wheel to er mk6 or newer you also have to replace your steering control module. Should be replaced to 1K0 953 549 CH.  Also if you have cruise control you'll be needing to swap out the old stick to a new one ending in "G".

You should also change you wiper stalk to 1K0953519H - That way you'll clear the error with vcds saying that you steering wheel electronic isn't coded right.

Also you'll be needing this cable : http://www.ebay.com/itm/36-32-Pins-Plug-Cluster-Adapter-For-VW-Passat-B6-Scirocco-Touran-Skoda-Octavia-/162295818840?hash=item25c995aa58:g:FjgAAOSwHMJYOHtW&vxp=mtr

Pretty sure you can find it in the UK ebay also from a nation seller. The link was just to give you an idea of what the cable looks like.

When all this is replaced and installed there's the whole coding of the Scirocco cluster and the immobilizers

@olsen-72
Pretty sure Alex can....
He's fitted 3d colour cluster in my car, with needle sweep & miles to empty.
Also mk6 & later mk7 MFSW to my car and everything works.

Got a rough price on what that cost? Clocks and Mk7 wheel sound tempting.

Apart from the usual suspects who else can retrofit these clocks?
