Ed30 brake upgrade

So the audi s3 8v front brakes will go straight on the the mk5 ed30...i assume i will need the s3 carriers too...will they conect to my hub? Kesh.

Audi SQ5 should also be a direct fit to a mk5 without any use of adapter brackets.
I'm running the Porsche 896/987 calipers on the front and VW Caddy on the rears.. This is 4pot setup front with 312mm disc and 1pot 41mm piston rear on 282 discs.. Don't like adding a lot of additional weight for fast road use this setup is far supperior :)

MASSIVE difference though, a touch of the brake pedal and i'm nearly out the front windscreen. No spacers or brackets needed, they bolt straight on and fill the Pescara's nicely. - If you decide to go for this set up try getting your hands on red calipers, the only thing I wish I did tbh :fighting:

What size disks are you using with the S3 setup? Im considering 340mm disks on the front as mine are worn and its time to replace them. In terms of the pads how much bigger are the S3 pads over the standard GTi pads?
