VW newbie from NI!
« on: June 03, 2017, 03:37:06 am »
Hi everyone, my name is Geoff and I'm from Northern Ireland. Was a long time Ford owner but recently picked up a 2005 Tornado Red GTI from England. It has some nice mods done to it already with uprated brakes, a MK6 Golf R steering wheel and it has also went fully polybushed. It's been very well looked after and I'm already loving it :) It does have a few small rust spots in the typical places and the boot badge has white worm but I intend to fix these ASAP plus hopefully add some over mods in time. Will throw up some pictures soon!

Welcome to the forum!

Whereabouts are you in NI? I'm over at Dundonald at the minute, if you ever need the use of my VCDS for anything just give me a bell!

I'm from Antrim so really not that far out of the way. And thank you for the offer. I'm loving GTI ownership so far!

Plans do include a drop and wheels. Hope to make it to GTINI"S Castlewellan show too!

Always handy to know, thank you!

As promised, a few photos of the car.

The day after I got home I gave it a wash and wax

One of the first mods I've done was install a rear de-wiper kit just to clean up the look of the rear of the car!
