Best polish/pad combo for swirls

I have a das6 pro plus and was going over panels earlier and cannot get all swirls removed.

I am currently using a heavy foam pad and poorboys ssr2 medium abrasive with 2 passes on each panel.

Is it just the case if going over and over the same panel? Or maybe try a harder abrasive?

I used my das6 with chemical guys V34 on a chemical guys microfibre orange cutting pad on @oisinc Pirelli last week and it came up

Finished with carpro essence and a red hex logic foam pad.

Could be either your pad or the way you're doing it!

What is your technique like ? Have a read of this http://www.detailingworld.co.uk/forum/showthread.php?t=63859 It really helped me see where I was going wrong and once I was finished with my car I had removed about 90% of the swirls (took me 3 days all together). I think I posted some pictures have a look through my post.

I used a Das 6, Chem guys orange pad for cutting and the white one for refining , and a few other products like bug and tar remover and paint cleanser to strip all the old products off.

Id say it got 50% of swirls out but when I tried again after there wasn't much difference.

The paintwork isnt too bad i just want have the paint flawless and all swirls completely removed. I'm guessing I'll just have to use patience and maybe try a few other compounds and pads.

Anyone used poorboys on here?
