today i managed to scratch this :sad1:-while taking it out part no iko907 539c

will taking it out..any body know how much they cost from the dealers

on  top the  dash board where the air circular switch is,its in front of that-not even sure what it does but thier is a wire plug that attachs to it

Im sure it will be buttons max, but not something that'll be on the shelves at vw. May take a few days to get or call a salvage dealer.

best trying the dealers in the morning, i'm sure if i remember right it's the temperature or light sensor for the car, correct me if I'm wrong.

Hedge is correct it is the Sun Sensor (light).  Part Number is 1K0 907 539 D

My vent cover near to that is dented, and one of the clips has broken due to constantly taking it out to fit new parts to the dash.
Anyone got the price for one, just to save me calling the dealers in the morning.
