FInd a windscreen guy who's willing to help!! If I had this issue and nothing worked I'd be hunting for Autoglass drivers  :signLOL:

Yeh good shout. Been told i need new windscreen as some clips that are on the windscreen are broken. Will look for autoglass driver. Ta

This is what we use at work for bonding letters to glass, as you see on shop front glazing like Ernest J\ones, H.Samuel

ROLL OF NOVABOND 19mm WIDE 'XS100C' HIGH STRENGTH D/SIDED TAPE
CAN OF NOVABOND SURFACE CLEANER
CAN OF NOVABOND GLASS SURFACE PRIMER
VW Golf 2.0 Gtd 140 4motion (2005)
Factory fitted: xenons, sunroof, heated leather seats, fold in mirrors with downlights,
Custom: Mk6 steering wheel, updated gateway, RNS510 remote boot pop, LED lighting.

LOCTITE have a speific glue for this job   "319" :happy2:  fixed mine no issues

Hey 4ndy I tried this Loctite and it didn't work.

How do I disconnect the mirror from the rain sensor, maybe I can try glue that first so it bonds. as the mirrors heavy weight makes it difficult to make it stick to windscreen when trying to glue it

ok I managed to disconnect mirror from rain sensor - have use gorilla epoxy - leaving it to set for a few hours before attaching mirror . hope it works

worked and was still up in the morning while sitting in the 35 degree weather so I'm thinking it'll last
