Aux cable for the standard radio
« on: June 05, 2017, 05:58:11 pm »
Was just wondering if I needed to remove the coin holder to wire in an aux or could I use something like a coat hanger to guide it to the area where the radio is??

In all honesty Ross you're best off following a how to guide to remove the stereo and have a play around. Try running the aux cable from the back of the stereo to down there. However the trim is very tight towards the coin holder area.

It would be best to experiment and sure sure the wire isn't covering any retaining clips etc.

Can you not remove the side panel off the centre console to route the wiring down to the coin holder?. You will have to remove the stereo either way to plug the wiring into the back of the stereo unit.
