My name's Rob and I've just picked up Edition 30 #1312 (
@b19_brv 's old car). I was in VW's since I was 19, starting with a Polo G40 but owning Golf Mk1's, 2's & 3's since then, as well as toying with a couple of BMW's. Ive had a few years away from cars but a recent trip to the Nurburgring with some good friends refuelled things for me and Im looking forward to life with a Mk5 GTi!
The forum has already helped me with what to look out for (as well as build a very long shopping list!
) and Im hoping Ill be of use at some point. Will get some pics and maybe a build thread up shortly.
