Hi guys, managed to pick up an armrest mounted MDI interface box from a Scirocco, unfortunately I couldnt get the loom that runs from the plug that goes into the underside of the MDI box and runs under the centre console up to the radio, I followed all the wiring and it appeared to go to the bulkhead looking like a complete dash wiring loom swap to use that wiring.
Do VW do a genuine sole wiring loom for the armrest MDI? and if so does anyone have a part number? or can the loom for the retrofit VW genuine MDI glovebox kit also be used for the armrest mounted MDi too?
I know Kufatec do a armrest MDI loom but if possible id like a genuine VW loom so its more "factory" but will use the Kufatec one if i have no alternative.
