People who break mk5 question for you

Hi I'm possibly looking at the fact I might have to break my much lover mk5 due to bottom end knocking due to another flipping oil pump failure :(

So I'm trying to figure out roughly how much is made form breaking the car ( everything will probably be available apart from engine

I don't know how much you'd get but I'm after a rust free boot lid in lc9z

Hard to tell.. There's alot of factors that will set the prices if you break. - And also if you can get the parts sold?

MAX Generation 2/3 door controllers
MAX CECM module
MAX CCM module


The condition of the glovebox compartment?
The condition of interior plastic parts?
The condition of your seats .. Are they heated? - Leather? - Electric adjustable?

Your side mirrors - Are these just normal ones or do they have options like puddle lights, anti dazzle or electric folding?

Gearbox is any good?
Generation is any good?
A/C compressor any good?
Headlights - Xenon or not?

There's lots and lots you can part out and resell if you find some buyers.. It might take a while - but if the condition is good and all i working it's not possible.

Yea don't get me wrong I would prefer to fix or drop new engine in just thinking worse case

Mines full heated leather gear box in Manuel in good condition at works non xenon head lights all interim plastics are very tidy and all work no broken bits
