Heating question (V158 potentiometer)
« on: June 19, 2017, 09:22:12 am »
Hi everyone,

The passenger side heater vents blow only hot air. I have checked the faults and the V158 heater potentiometer is at fault. I have also tested this manually and found it to be faulty.

My question is do I need a new part with the matching part numbers or can I use the potentiometer with another part number? I know they might move differently etc but want to check first.

Thanks in advance.

Probably best to get one that matches. There are a few that are physically the same, but have different cogs / Connectors.

Best to go for one the same to save any hassle.

I had the same dilemma replacing the recirculation flsp motor.
