Absolutely NOTHING to do with my car....just a pic of my latest grandson, Oscar.

.......(although kinda car related) Mrs MC told me to buy a car seat for the little fella for when she is looking after him so £270 later I have the Recaro Guardia Car seat with ISOFIX Base (sold seperatly, the money grabbing buggers). Lots of different colours available so able to get one that matches the interior of my R.

This is going to be a annoying with a 3 door, thought I was over all this hassle years ago, DOH!!!

^^^^ now that is AWESOME!! Love the Mk7 GTI Monza wheels. Although you'd have to be smoking crack to spend that much on a pushchair......and yes I understand some peeps do.

Congrats on the new arrival. Getting the car seat in and out will be a frustration but if your only doing it a few days a week it won't be to bad, I'm considering selling mine to get a 5 door MK5 but I can't find any nice ones

New wheels, tyres and bolt covers all turned up over last few days. Decided on the REVO RV019 (19" X 8.5" ET45) in Gloss Anthracite, I bottled out on buying gold wheels.  After a few coats of Poorboy's Wheel Sealant the wheels, and the paint flake, look immense so I'm happy with the choice of wheels and colour.

Apart form looking good and being pretty light for 19" rims (10 Kg) the REVO wheels will give 16mm more poke over the OEM Cadiz wheels so a much better stance and loads of room for a BBK when I get round to that.

As for tyres, for years I've run Goodyear Eagle tyres but after many peeps praising Michelins I bought a set of 19" Michelin Pilot Sport 4S for the new wheels. Not the cheapest tyres I've ever bought though!

Will post a few pics of them on the car at the weekend once fitted along with (hopefully) the Rieger front splitter, MAXTON side diffusers and MAXTON rear spats/splitters.

I had the wheels, tyres, bolt covers and some little R valve cap thingamabobs fitted today. Much happier now I'm shot of those Cadiz wheels. Can't comment on the Michelin Pilot Sport 4S tyres yet but hoping for good things once I've given them proper work out and test!

Yeap a BBK will be along as some point. The current 7R front calipers will ok for stage 1 so no rush there, as for lowering.....its on the list somewhere but not the top.....a smidge more power next.

As for the wheels......I'm just not brave enough! 

My brother has some (well and truly) used 18" TD 1.2s that im going to take and use when I do track days so will get them refurbd in a bright lary colour, maybe gold.

That's a great update - I must admit the Revo wheels do look good in that colour. Very distinguished. Would still love to see how a light gold looks, but it's different when it comes to actually doing it on your own car, I'm sure!

Stage 1 is from 350bhp to 380bhp depending on supporting mods.

Will post some more pics once I've fitted the Front Splitter, side skirt diffusers and rear skirts/spats which are waiting to go on.


..........and in other news my new DAS6 PRO and Meguiars kit turned up from Cleanyourcar!! Now I need to start practicing, will start with one of my fathers cars, will be fun.
