Ceramic Coated paint work (Video)
« on: August 13, 2017, 09:58:47 am »
Just putting this up for everyone to be able to decide on future long-term coatings.

As stated in my own cars thread, it has been coated with Gtechniq Crystal Serum Light (Protects from scratches, PH elements up to 3 and 12 IRC, and lasts up to 5 years) and then coated on top with Gtechniq Exo V2 (self-cleaning coating and gives a lot of gloss and depth, It last up to 2 years or so, currently on my daily It's been a year, washed weekly and it's still on the car but needs decontaminated to assess the length and remaining strength of the coating).

Washing before I set about adding Ceramic coating to the windows.

Enjoy and Any questions are more than welcome!

Hard to see what's happening in the clip, but guessing the water is just falling off the paint like water off a duck's back?

I'll get all this stuff done once I'm happy with it mechanically!

Sorry didn't realise as I knew what I was looking at, here's a proper one. It's after 300 miles of barnstorming so dirty paint and that's rain on top hence why it sits on it.

That is very impressive!  I'll definitely be getting that done at some point.  Shame you're not in England!

If you do it yourself about £80-100 iirc, if you pay someone to do it £750+
