Car court fire

Just dropping my little girls phone to here  and smoke started coming out of the bonnet and the coil pack plug was smoking anyone had this .

Yeah it's a known problem on the original coils. Pop it into a VW garage and get them changed under recall.

How mad an old GTI missed this recall - but yeah, get it in :)
I'd also question the Service History if your GTI5 had those original coil packs...

It's got full history but not all vw dose seem a bit silly as it would have been free.
