DSG Problem... Help!
« on: July 12, 2017, 03:28:59 pm »
dont think this is normal but over the last couple of days i noticed when going from 2nd to 3rd and 3rd to 4th mainly is is changing at around 3/3.5k revs when usually it changes much lower at 2k. seems a bit intermittent as sometimes itll change perfectly but moreso changing at high revs now in Drive.

car is stock with following mods: stage 1 map, ramair induction kit and 3 inch decat downpipe.

DSG service was done summer 16 and have definitely not covered 40k miles

anyone else had this problem??

If the problem isn't your right foot being to heavy as it will adjust when to change, depending on how hard the accelerator is being pressed. Try getting someone to do a DSG settings reset with VCDS.

Saw in another thread the wheel speed sensor if faulty can confuse the car and change up too high.

Sounds like another wheel speed sensor problem. Likely to be corrosion on the pick up ring.
