If you really want a mk7 style key, have a look at the custom key workshop, they do a conversion

got mine off ebay
blank shell and just need blade cut and sorted
transferred everything ova in a few mins

Straight swap over the insides

Like said above need the blade cutting
But good for £8
Comes with battery and blue vw badge
