Hi All, - New member here.
I have had my MK5 GTi for 18 months and love it. Bought it already modified; Stage 2 remap plus DSG remap, Evolution air intake 3" downpipe + sports cat, Audit S3 alloy inter-cooler, Autotech fuel pump + cam follower replaced. Braided hoses + MTEC drilled disks. About 260bhp.
Since then I've made the following mods; replaced all brake lines and discs to VW standard, fitted eibach sportline springs and recently had used (but mint) 2016 RNS 510 DAB/NAV head unit fitted with the Kufatec Fiscon bluetooth module (works off steering wheel controls and displays phone info in MFD).
Apart from that I've just serviced her every 6 months and replaced shock absorber mounts and bushes - oh and replaced an oil pick up pipe.
Now that that's all done all she needs is the Monza alloys refurbed. Having read previous posts its sounds like an allover plain colour would be better than trying to redo the originals (whiteworm issue). Just which colour? Anthracite or a light gun metal? I have 18" Monzas that have in the past been redone to look like the Monza shadows but were not diamond cut. My car looks great but its a daily driver more than a toy.
Cheers
