Unresponsive after jolt
« on: August 17, 2017, 12:23:59 pm »
Hi all,

Ive had my gti for a month now and love it, its had all the usual failures replaced since i bought it (cam follower due to be done this weekend) however I try to avoid wherever i can but where it is unavoidable whenever i hit a "substantial" pothole, the throttle becomes very unresponsive and jerky then the engine cuts out. I turn it back on but no better. If i leave it about 30s  all is good again.

Any ideas what it could be.

My mate said it could he a sensor but im thinking it may be a fuel issue? Help please

Thanks in advance

Weird.  Any fault codes?

It could be a violent jolt upsetting the in-tank pump I guess, or maybe an over-sensitive crash sensor cutting the pump?
