Golf mk5 window regulator
« on: August 30, 2017, 01:44:27 pm »
Hi all,

The wire on my window regulator has snapped and picked up a full one fairly cheap.

Now I managed to get the two screws off that connect the motor mover to the cogg but can't seem to get the other two off as they are hidden behind the cross bar strengthening thing ( not sure of the technical term) now what sort of tool would I use to undo them?

Thanks for any help

Replaced one of my regulators a few month ago on the front door. You'll have to unscrew the crash panel in the door before you can remove the regulator. Think it's 2-4 screws with 8mm trilpe square and 2-4 10mm or 13mm that hold that panel in place.
