Custom exhaust question
« on: September 03, 2017, 12:05:19 pm »
Hi,

I have a BCS 3 inch downpipe and sports cat with a backbox delete, it sounds nice but I'm perhaps looking to get it a little bit louder.  Would changing the centre section but keep the resonator change the sound of the exhaust if I get a custom section made up?

Thanks!

I can confirm, going from standard downpipe and cats with non resonated rear section to a decat pipe onto a non resonated pipe makes it plenty loud. Sounds the business on full throttle  :driver: :happy2:

Cheers both, i would get a decat but I haven't long bought the sports cat and downpipe.  Id struggle mot wise if I got a decat.  The other reason id like to change the centre section is so it's all stainless steel.  I don't want to go non res as id probably be in asbo territory  :signLOL:

Id maybe think about getting a decat in the future!
