Rear Engine (Dogbone) mount symptoms

Hi all, just wondering if anyone can help me diagnose a niggling issues I'm having. I've changed gearbox and side engine mounts for Revo items and fitted a powerflex insert to the rear mount existing standard mount (car is 90,000 2005 and I have no reason to doubt that its the original mount). Trouble is I can still 'feel' an amount of movement when suddenly accelerating or breaking. Does this sound like the rear mount is gone? Anything else it could be?

If it is the mount I read that the subframe plate needs to be dropped, the old mount pressed out and the new one pressed in and the alignment will need to be done. 100% need to pressed or is there a way of doing it without one?

Subframe will need to be dropped to install the new mount.
Then more then likely you end up with subframe movement,
You could try new subframe bolts or go get a deadest kit like tyrol

You can still get a fair amount of movement with uprated engine mounts....but it sounds like you would benefit from a better dogbone.  You can also fit the Vibratechnics small end bush too and have all 4 uprated.   You might hate yourself for doing so if you sit in traffic regularly, mind

I'm having he same issue with my dog bone, the smaller bush has split causing it to jerk!. I've ordered a new poly bushes one from china

Where are these located?? I thought there were only three mounts is there a forth?

2 x Shoulder mounts
1 x pair of large dogbone bushes (in the subframe)
1 x small dogbone bush (in the dogbone itself, attaches to the gearbox).

The small one is voided for compliance and can cause a little jerking coming off the throttle.

I've got the power flex dogbone insert and bfi trans mount, just got to do the drivers side mount but I'm not really getting the results I thought I would.
Still get a thud when changing 1st to second and can feel engine moving

Check the small bush on the dog mount as mine has torn causing jerky take off!!!

I'll have a look or might just buy one, if I'm looking at it I may aswell replace it

Does anyone know if the arm can be removed without dropping the subframe?

If so would be an easy way to replace the small bush without the need of a press
