Very happy newbie - Laser Blue
« on: September 24, 2017, 06:04:36 pm »
Hi

Just replaced my mk4 TDI....

With this......

I'm a very happy man

Pressed plates are on order and led number plate lights. On the shopping list are led interior lights, a suspension refresh (based on what I've read on here will be H&R springs, blistein shocks and standard bushes) and because the interior is tatty I'm after new headlight switch, stereo and electric window switches/ grab handles. The electric mirrors don't work so expect that will be the switch. Been looking at the cheap eBay ones but if anyone has a link for decent budget kit I would be most grateful.

Looking forward to many happy days, tweaking, polishing a driving the beast...

That's what mine is, love that car, but don't do the miles these days to warrant having a diesel. It's on 190k and it's tight as a drum, no knocks or rattles, they built them well. I did 50k plus miles in it and the only thing that let me down was with a split hose.
