Service bits
« on: September 28, 2017, 05:30:04 pm »
Hi I am looking to do some basic service bits at the weekend and looking for parts advice. Best make of oil, air, pollen filter, I had look on Euro parts and says there are more than 1 option for my car? Ideally I was going to order for delivery. As for TPS we have one near my work place, can I just walk in and buy over counter or do I need to have a business account? Appreciate I could go a stealer but would rather not due to previous experiences!

Hi mate I use quantum 5/40 oil which I bought from TPS, the oil and filter were approx £20. A account card is not needed for TPS, most branches will sell direct to the public although I've some branches won't.

I bought a genuine oil filter at the last oil change an it was branded MANN but in a VW box so I'm going to buy MANN filters from now on, before that I always used Bosch filters.
