Rear Brake Caliper Gti

Hi I got a seized rear caliper which you can feel it rubbing slightly on the brake discs when you drive. I've took apart the opposite side and the Piston seems solid to wind back in to fit new brake pads. Question is how hard are they to wind back in? Or is it seized too.

I had the same when I wound mine back while doing discs and pads, the seized piston did wind back all the way but wouldn't retract once put back together. The disc was getting pretty hot when driving!
 I ended sending both calipers off to be refurbished. They do get stiff to wind back if seized but will go back to the stops.

Always problems with these rears. Search on here.

Not worth messing with, I got 2 new red OEM (not VW!) ones off CP4L  delivered for well under £200.

My dealer managed to fix mine when it seized with a repair kit
