Part number for cam chain adjuster for axx

Hello I’m getting my cam chain and tensioner fitted soon but the garage said they won’t do it without doing the adjuster,does anyone have the correct part number for a axx for this,as I was told there’s a few different ones for different engine codes.thanks

There's a few......06F109088C, 06F109088G, 06F109088J etc

Most people have used 06F109088J with success.   If there are multiple part numbers for the same thing, you're better off going to the dealer with your reg no. to get the right one.   VW's have a no returns policy on special order parts.

No need to do the adjuster unless its broken or faulty.

A decent garage will advise you to get it done but it is your choice. If they won't just do the chain and tensioner go somewhere else, it's your car buddy  :happy2:
