Sealing headlights after refurbing them, what to use?
« on: October 08, 2017, 01:55:33 pm »
I used the 3M kit to do them last time but will try wet and dry this time. Bought a mixed grades pack of paper, finest is 1500 grade.
That should be fine enough?

Also what to use after to keep them looking good?

Seen this on Amazon https://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/product/B00A3S1RGU/ref=ox_sc_sfl_title_1?ie=UTF8&psc=1&smid=A3P5ROKL5A1OLE or anything else good?

Thanks.

2500 Wet and dry would be better or 3000 if you can get it...

As to sealing them Chemical Guys Jet Seal or a decent wax?

303 Aerospace spray, or a good layer of wax.

I did see a youtube video where the guy laqured them for a permanent solution.

I used 800 grit as I have no patience and sold both sets on here too with no complaints either  :happy2:

Get them lacquered by a paint sprayer
