RS3 8p Intercooler Upgrade for my ED30

Hi all,

First post on the forum. I have had my ed30 for a few months now and looking to upgrade to Stage 2+. Currently have a Revo Stage 2. On the list before is an IC upgrade and my friend has recently replaced his RS3 8p intercooler.

I have searched on the forum and haven't found anyone who has done this but looking to see if the 8p intercooler will be a direct replacement for my Ed30 intercooler.

S3 intercoolers drop right in.  Not sure about RS3.   @Shoduchi might know.

The RS3 IC has a very different shape so it should be easier to just fit a direct replacement as the S3 8P IC or a Welly cooler (Toyosports bar and plate FMIC).

Thanks for your replies guys. I'll have a look into it. Are you aware of anyone that has tried it?

ED30-Neil:
I was told by my mechanic the S3 one is the best straight swop upgrade.
