ECT Sensor Housing

I have got a replacement ECT sensor (06A919501A), O Ring and Clip as mine blew out Saturday night losing all my coolant in the process. I have now discovered the housing that the ECT Sensor goes into is broken/cracked etc. I have a new replacement housing and O ring coming today. I was wondering if anyone could tell me how to replace the housing?
