Audi Fat 5 Alloys Onto Mk5 Golf Spigot Rings
« on: October 21, 2017, 11:03:26 am »
Hi, have just picked up a gen set of Audi fat 5 alloys to put on my mk5 golf Gti. The seller said I'd need spigot rings to compensate for the larger bore size of the audi. Can anyone confirm what size I'd need to get and should I be looking for plastic or metal type? Thanks.

Fat 5s from the MK1 TT are 57.1mm, same as the MK5.

if they are 18x8.5  fat fives from a audi a8 then the CB is 57.1 and a straight fit

if they are mk1 audi tt fat fives then they are 17" 5x100 and won't fit your mk5 anyway

Cheers for the replies, they are the A8 version alloys so should go straight on. Good to know just got to get round to fitting them now, been cleaning them up today.
