Rubbing Issues
« on: October 28, 2017, 09:10:52 pm »
Bit of advice needed. I recently lowered my Gti and am now getting a rubbing noise from the front driver side. I found a bit of loose wheel arch liner and fixed it up but the issue persists. Only on the driver side front. Happens on speed humps and when turning left at higher speeds. 20mm drop with 10mm spacers. Is this normal?

Cheers

Each set up is different so hard to say. Depends on tyre, wheels, offsets etc.
have you done the 'fender screw mod'?
This may be enough to stop your rubbing. Just search for that and you'll see what I mean.

Did this today. Seems to have worked a treat. The difference a few mm can make is crazy. Thanks for the tip
