Anyone tried the VWR "Cup Edition" alloy wishbone set?

Sounds like a plan Acko but why not get some adjustable bjs and achieve some more negative camber at the same time? Here’s an extract from today’s Evo roadtest of the optimistically priced Seat Cupra R

“while the strut front suspension has been adjusted to deliver greater negative camber in an attempt to improve turn-in and front-end grip – it has been increased from 1.3 degrees to two degrees.“

Maybe at a later date, them Superpro ball joints arnt half expensive but rightly so as you can fiddle with the camber and tweet set-up 👍🏼
I’ve managed to get both Passat arms at £15 each (eBay) brand new lemfonder Passat ball joints for £27 each (thinking there very similar to OEM) and the SuperPro control arm bush kit for £117 inc delivery BLACKFRIDAY special 😊
So not to bad overall

The front control arm rear SALK or ALK is that the same as the SuperPro complete  bush kit I’ve just purchased once fitted or are the ‘ALK’s abit more offset to achieve more lift?! I’m still learning unfortunately but will get there haha...

Same caster increase. Just more work to get it well fitted, I think.

Yeah you have pretty much the same thing Acko. Keep in mind though that if you fit the adjustable bjs later then you will need to pay for a second alignment.

The complete kit should be the consoles and the front bushes.  Rear bushes just move the wishbones out about 20mm, which tilts the whole strut forwards to give you more caster.  The front bushes are fixed as per OEM.  Did you buy the kit with the complete housings, or just the press-in bushes?

Yeah I’ve just bought the complete bush kit, not the rear consoles for front arm with SuperPro bush already fitted...

Looks like the kit I’ve bought is only standard upgraded replacement bushes, if you can see the diagram on the picture i’ve got the standard (SPF3271K) bushes & on the right of the diagram it shows (SPF3272K) bushes which create anti-lift

Yeah they are standard replacements, without the voids.  SPF3272K is the steering pull correction kit.  Only one bush is offset.

I think the anti lift press in bush kits have been discontinued as they don't show on SuperPro's site anymore.  So you'll need ALOY3273-80K or ALOY3273-90K

The 90K one is stiffer.   TBH your kit looks old anyway.  The rotating insert is now a stainless steel sleeve, yours are the older poly on poly design.

Think the kit with rotating stainless insert is for track use, mine is only road use..but you could be rite maybe an old kit..did get the kit at a decent price! Would of preferred the anti-lift kit though
