whilst driving my r32 home i drove other a section of ice and the traction light came on for a few secounds.My mate said it shouldn't come on as its in 4 wd but i said the back wheels are also spinning

The traction light comes on when there’s a loss of traction, and the wheels any of the four start to spin.
