Hello From Liverpool

Evening all you GTI owners! Just thought id introduce myself and get some advice of you all.

Im from Aintree in Liverpool im 22 and i currently drive an '09 Suzuki Swift Sport. However im planning on going to see a rather nice looking dark blue MK5 GTI DSG up in Manchester so im just asking if theres anything i should be looking out for or any common issues?
The waterpump, timing belt, oil/filter, sparkplugs and battery have all been changed over the past few months so thats a good thing. Theres no rust on any of the wheel arches and it hasn't been messed with (remaps, air intakes etc). So any information is really appreciated.

Even without any  sign of rust on  the arches the foam needs to be removed.
