Looking for advice on a potential Ed30 purchase
« on: February 07, 2010, 03:53:28 pm »
Hi,

Just got back from the stealers, been looking at an Ed30 on 08 plate manual with 21k on the clock.
The car has all the usual Ed30 features +
Highline
RNS510 factory fit

They are asking 19900 and don't want to move on the price but will fit the VW bluetooth to sweeten the deal.

It does not have the MFSW, which i would like, is this an easy mod if the car already has highline or are we talking £££££££'s

Look forward to receiving your guidance. :happy2:

That sounds like very strong money to me.

There is also some movement available in the price

Check mine mate - I have MFSW, highline, and bluetooth.
Less miles on mine as well, and with the extra you save you can easily get a RNS510 with money to spare

so youve seen the light chris!!

i would say thats a high price. for that money you could get a low mileage DSG pirelli which ive been thinking about a lot as i saw a 09 plate couple of weeks ago that i wanted but decided to stick with the eddy due to being pretty skint lately and being under the cosh!

Your right Phil, If i can pull this of I will be very luck , the future Mrs Thor is happy at the mo planning the wedding, and keeps giving my plans the OK.

Nick, i have seen this Pirelli edition http://www.volkswagen.co.uk/used/search/?vehicleId=600646822&centreId=123184&alertId so will give thme a call tomorrow. where did you see the other one you mentioned/

I am trading the 350Z in and so i suppose what i'm down on paying more at a dealer i make up on the lack of hassle selling the Zed privately as I have been offer 12k for the Zed by a number of dealers

Just seen this.....

Seems steep to me. To put it in context I paid alot less than that  for an '08 Ed30 with 22K miles on it (DSG, MFSW, Highline & lux) last month...... all from a main dealer. By a lot I mean a few thousand not a few hundred.

I had to pay cost price for the VW bluetooth though
