Update.

So got a few parts fitted.

Scorpion downpipe with sportscat.
Vwr600 intale
Vwr turbo elbow
Vwr muffler delete
Airtec intercooler
Apr dogbone mount

Stage 2 apr map done at ecotune. It made 408bhp and 436ftlb.

Car does feel fast etc but i'm not sure i like everyday driving with it stage 2, see how it goes in next couple of weeks.

Had a nightmare with potholes or craters. Buckled a wheel and got it fixed and then today 4 days of having it back i kerbed that wheel. Not kerbed a wheel in about 10year so i've made up for it

Decided i'm going back to oz wheels, always had a soft spot for them. Seen a cracking deal for a last set of superturismo's in grapthite.

Small update.

Finally got the brakes and the wheels on.

Chuffed with them, but i can see myself getting the wheels done black in the future.

Was tinkering with the idea of getting the calipers done in yellow. But nearly £300 to get then professionally done i thought was a bit steep. So keeping them all black.

Nextweek got the silenced mid section going on and thats it about done. Well for now.

Wheels got changed to black. Think it looks alot better now.

personal preference I prefer the non black wheels but what a utter weapon.

Hi mate. Yes i did. Tbh i don't like it stage 2 race mode is great. But normal mode is basically redundant now as it sits in 4th gear till your above 60mph unless you go into manual.

I liked the grey aswell. But just always had a thing for black wheels haha.

When i was stage 1 it was perfect and id say its worth it. Think being stage 1 you are safe to stay standard with the dsg. But stage 2 you need it.

If it was me and i was going stage 1 id get the dsg done again. I'm thinking of going back to stage 1 tbh. It's even crossed my mind to get a custom map done from MRC.

It is alot of money though. Do revo not do deals every now and again for 10% off like APR do. Might be worth waiting for one of they deals.

One thing i do wish i did was go to mrc or unicorn for a custom map.

If your close to any of they 2 id be doing that before apr or revo. Not that revo n apr aren't anygood i just prefer custom maps. 12 hour round trip put me off though haha.
