Hi Guys,

Own a GTI MK5 DSG, running custom stage 2 map 289bhp...

Just had a full service done and been advised to change the brake pads in next 2-3k miles... any recommendations please?

Ferodo ds2500's performing well on an ed30. Never fade during spirited driving and are wearing very well.

I use HAWK HPS pads...made over 80k miles last set. Be sure to properly burnish the discs when finished installing the new pads. I do 3 quickly repeated; "30mph to near stops" followed by 8 to 10 quickly repeated "60mph to near stops"...then drive for 10 to 15 minutes allowing them to cool. Don't set the parking brake when you park afterward.

This is a good info vid:
