TFSI Engine Suggestions for a MK5 GTI AXX Engine Bay
« on: January 13, 2018, 04:39:36 pm »
From a recent bad experience I'm curious to go out of the box- to find out what other cars that have the same 2.0tfsi engine that I can choose from aside from a MK5 GTI engine? Also I don't want to do any mods or changes to ancililiaries anything like that.. Im guessing they are exactky thecsame engine right? So Looking for a straight swap with no added adjustments or chages required etc.. As there options I can now go for ed30 being one of them I'd like to know some others please.

Leave your suggestions as there are a few options im told.

After some research the following are recommended for my Mk5 DSG:

Golf GTI Mk5 (2005-2008) - 197bhp
Golf GTI Mk5 Edition 30 & Pirelli Edition (2007-2008) - 227bhp
Golf GTI Mk6 Edition 35 (2011-2012) -232bhp
Audi S3 Sportback (8P) (2008-2012 - 265bhp
Audi A4 Avant TFSI 2.0T (B7) (2005-2008) - 197bhp or 217bhp on DTM Edition
Skoda Octava TFSI 2.0T Mk2 Pre-facelift (2005-2008) - 197bhp - Engine code BWA

Is a Seat Leon FR BWA engine recommended or down the list as to why it is not shown here?
