Well i had a night mare with the dealers they are sayiong they wont be able to do it under warrenty! But when i say "other Dealers used to replace  the monza 2s on the Mk5s as people on the foum have had them replaced" and they say that must have been a good will jester.

So i will send vw a letter in writing.

But i havent even got my locking wheel nut yet they got me one 2 day but it was the wrong one again so i can even put my works wheels on to show you lot.

Il have to see what happens when i go there at the end of the week.

Im not very happy so far.

Don't give up on this one, keep on pushing VW head office to get a resolution. If you know that this car was a head office car then it was run by one of the team there for 3 months and sold on to the dealership, so it has been in VW's possesion up until the point where you bought it. These cars are meant to be inspected by VW when the car is handed back from the member of staff who ran the car from new and then inspected again before going to the dealership so the defect on the wheels should have been noticed already, if they had done their job correctly. Secondly the white worm on the wheels cannot be put down to wear and tear, they also cannot argue that the age or milage on the car could have contibuted to this defect and these are the usual reasons that they would give for not repairing or replacing any defects. Don't take no for an answer, good luck

Car looks sweet and the list of mods sounds exciting, can't wait to see it take shape  :happy2:

mate you need to just keep on at them, ive had so many warranty claims on my 2008 mk5 where things keep going wrong and they refuse to change it saying its "wear and tear" or due to my driving ect, everytime ive written a letter to the head of the vw dealership that i use telling him that unless they sort it i will be getting in contact with vw headquaters and every time its been sorted within the week they just try to get away with every claim they can

Nice motor Ash  :notworthy:

I would get someone to photoshop the back of the seats first before you commit to painting them white. I thought about white a while back and it didn't look as good as i thought. we all have different taste's though just take a blimp first before they go to the paint shop.  :happy2:

Sorry for not updating this thread been busy sorting out my sports supplement business...

So far iv put on a set of detroit monzas thanks to Oli..

Iv put 15mm spacers on the back so the wheels fit the arches better..

Also gt eibach springs coming 30mm drop so it doesn't affect the acc.

I still have my r32 brakes which will be goin on  at the weekend when I have a oil and filter change..

I should have the outer r lights come this week and a big thanks to steve for making my adaptors for the lights..

I'll get plenty of pics when I get time!

Ash.

the works wheel will be going on once iv decided what colour 2 paint them and once iv decided what colour trim I'm going for as I still have my recaros...

The big changes will be happening after UDs when it goes on air.. the springs and detroits are just a winter look as it looks Gaay on stilts..
