O2 Sensor (Lambda) PN
« on: May 12, 2014, 08:42:04 am »
Hi,

I'm having some trouble with the precat Oxygen sensor on my S3.
From the 2 error codes I have, it seems that the sensor is toast & I'm looking for the part number if anyone can help.

Started with rough/variable idle after cold start and no MIL.
After I restarted the engine MIL came on & idle is stable - car seems to run properly.

Any advice is appreciated.
Thanks!

Assuming it's the same sensor as the gti then 06J906262AA
Without traction power is nothing!

Just curious - if you have a lambda fault code/engine check light, but my car has been running fine. Is it still crucial to get it changed or can one just live with it ? Whats the worse that can happen ?
