« on: January 23, 2018, 08:21:26 pm »
Looking at H&R 30mm springs for my MK5 GTI... anyone got any pictures of a 30mm drop? i dont want them to scrape or have to practically come to a halt at bumps... been told 30mm is fine

I’ve just put H&R springs on, overall I’m happy but would like the rear 5-10mm lower.

I have a 20mm drop with eibach sportline springs.  Sits bang on. But still have to drive uuuuuber slow over speed bumps so can't imagine what 30mm would be like.

Nope, Sportlines drop 30 mm too.

Here's mine with Eibach Sportlines and OEM dampers:

I changed to H&R -30 mm springs and Koni Sport dampers later since I didn't like the first setup. It improved but now I have Bilstein B16 PSS10 fitted because I needed the car sitting higher but with adjustability as well.

Raj’s sits perfect, difficult to tell with shoduchi dud to shadows. I’ve read on here that the 5 door sits better at the back due to the weight of the doors, don’t know how true that is?
I’ve had no problems with speed bumps

@Rigsby  :happy2: :happy2:  Thanks for the compliment man

@jaylufc17 - Maybe not super slow over bumps. Just enough to not ruin my Shocks.  :happy2:
